Autumn/Winter ’08 is finally here!
A hedonistic array of Venetian inspired art forms with a taste of ripe red mulled wine! Aftershock’s latest collection for Autumn/Winter 2008 is inspired by Venetian art forms.
The Collection brings a total fresh and contemporary new look. The styles mix beautifully layering, matt/sheen contrasts, new length silhouettes, embellishments and hand finishing. They include embellished knits, royal romantic influenced blouses, dresses and very chic tunic, shift dresses.
The colours used are an array of winter beverages from white coffee with its elegant beige tints to the richness of mulled wine with its burgundy hues and black tea with its welcoming dark tones, reflecting a very European atmosphere.
Style comes in many forms this winter with layers, sparkle and demure dark colour trends taking us right up until the first signs of spring. By day, engulf yourself in earthy toned layers of leather, wool and cashmere. At night, embrace your sparkly side with the glittering catwalks dictating our evening apparel. The accessories are daring.
Jewellery sparkles with unusual shades of purple, raspberry pink and teal to add richness. The evening bags collection includes clutch bags for the classic lady and box shapes for the more adventurous one. Faux-fur little jackets, wraps and capes are still a strong feature on the catwalk and kept dusky with similar colours to the jewellery.
